A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Relocating to United States wasn't part of the long-range plan. Like many expat moves, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Everyday tasks felt tougher than they ought to.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of learning by doing. Yet gradually routines settled in. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt steady.
Why I Created Gadget Vista Ledger
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or surface-level tourist content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical advice drawn from real life in United States.
